Water Heaters

Water Heater Installation & Repair

Whether it's for a steamy shower, a load of laundry, or washing up after dinner, we rely on hot water every day. But how often do we stop to think about the humble water heater working tirelessly to make it all possible? The truth is most of us don't pay much attention to our water heaters until something goes wrong.

Don’t wait until things go sideways. Keep up with routine water heater maintenance so that you can avoid unnecessary water heater repairs as well as hiccups in your schedule. Mr. Rooter Plumbing is proud to have trusted plumbers who can work on residential and commercial water heaters of all shapes and sizes.

Tank-style water heaters

Most homes use one of two types of water heaters: tank-style and tankless. While they both do the same job, there are some key differences between the two.

The tank-style water heater is the more traditional option. It stores and heats a large amount of water (typically 30 to 80 gallons) in a tank. When you turn on the tap, hot water flows from the tank to your sink, shower, or dishwasher.

Tankless water heaters

A tankless water heater, also known as an on-demand water heater, heats water only when you need it. It uses high-powered burners to heat water as it passes through the unit. Thanks to the on-demand feature, there is no standby heat loss since the water is only heated when you turn on the tap. To be fair, these units are more expensive to purchase and install.

Leave the installation to the professionals

Whether you need a water heater installation for a new-build or are considering an upgrade, it is worth leaving the work to a qualified and trained plumber. While hiring a local handyman, or even taking on a DIY installation, may save some money, the risks are great.

What Our Customers Say About Us

Jovanny, Kyle, and Corin were fantastic! I have had many plumbers our over the last 10 years who have all told me that I had various problems, but their solutions never made sense. These great folks came out very fast, showed me what was wrong, fixed it quickly, charged a great price, and cleaned up everything afterwards. The plumbing is singing! I would highly recommend Mr Rooter for any service you need. It’s like when you find the honest mechanic - use them and recommend them to everybody!

I am a senior citizen that was searching for a honest and affordable company to help me with a emergency plumbing situation. All drains clogged because of damaged pipe under the house. I called a few companies but chose Mr. Rooter because of the customer service I received. All personnel at the company that I ended up dealing with treated me well and wanted to help me out. It ended up being a major job in which Fernando and Richard spent many hours under my house until they got the job done. Both Fernando and Richard went beyond great service. As you can imagine I was very stressed out with this emergency situation. Both Fernando and Richard stayed late in the day to finish as well as came back the next day to make sure everything was still working properly. They treated me like family. By the end of the day I had relationships from management to labor before the job was done. I would highly recommend this company because of the great service they provided as well as the work which ended up putting everything back on track. Thanks Fernando and Richard you’re the best !!!!!

Wesley, Manager, Frank and Marcos worked as a team, were very cordial, respectful and considerate, explained every step plus cost of what needed to be done. They answered all our questions and kept us informed of the the process during the repair. They kept a tidy work area, used tarps. After they completed each project they cleaned and removed any and all debris/parts. Wesley, Frank, and Marcos thank you for having pride by your performance .... job well done! Would I refer Mr. ROOTER Yes I would...I am a Senior and I would recommend this trust worthy company. to all Seniors! Jessica, Receptionist, returned my desperate emergency call during a holiday within 30 minutes.

We had a water leak that was damaging our house as well as our neighbors home. Our home owners warranty did not cover leak detection and our neighbors plumber couldn’t find anything when he inspected both houses. We called Mr. Rooter of Riverside late evening and they were here within an hour! Carlos P. was the technician and was very friendly and professional. He quickly set up his gear and got to work. Within minutes he found the leak and also answered every single question I had about plumbing without hesitation. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooters plumbing to any friends or family. They were the only company willing to come without days ahead appointments. Thanks again Carlos P!
