When you think of a plumber, chances are the first things that come to mind are leaky faucets, clogged drains, or maybe a broken water heater. Did you know that plumbers in Phelan, CA are also trained to handle gas lines? That’s right, our plumbers aren’t just limited to water-related tasks; they can install, repair, and upgrade your gas lines too.

Whether you need an emergency gas line repair, an initial installation, or an upgrade, the plumbers at Mr. Rooter Plumbing are ready, willing, and able to help. Call or message us today to schedule a convenient appointment.

Plumbers work on gas lines as well

Many people don’t realize that gas lines fall under the expertise of trained plumbers. Gas and water lines share a lot of similarities, and plumbers are well-equipped to handle both. Working on gas lines, however, requires specialized knowledge and licensing because a mistake can be far more dangerous than a leaky faucet. A faulty gas line can lead to gas leaks, fires, or even explosions.

Our plumbers who work on gas lines are specially and regularly trained, and they are equipped to follow strict protocols. In short, if you’ve got an issue with your gas line, you can call Mr. Rooter Plumbing to hire a qualified plumber.

Signs of gas line trouble

While gas lines are built to last, they aren’t immune to accidental and incidental damage. Whether due to age, environmental factors, or poor installation, gas lines can become damaged or develop leaks. Here are a few signs that something may be wrong with your gas line:

  • Smell of Sulfur or Rotten Eggs: Natural gas itself is odorless, but utility companies add a chemical called mercaptan to make it easier to detect leaks.
  • Hissing Sounds: That sound could indicate a gas leak.
  • Dead Plants: Natural gas leaking into the soil can deprive plants of oxygen and cause them to wither and die.
  • Spike in Gas Bills: This is another sign of a potential leak.
  • Pilot Light Won’t Stay Lit: This could be a sign of insufficient gas flow.

The gas line is nothing to take lightly. While you can postpone a water leak repair, there is NO good reason to delay a gas line repair. Plus, Mr. Rooter Plumbing offers emergency services so call us at any time of the day – or night.

Reasons to replace or upgrade the gas line

Beyond repairs, there are a few reasons you might consider replacing or upgrading your gas line installation altogether:

Mr. Rooter Reviews

What Our Customers Say About Us

Jovanny, Kyle, and Corin were fantastic! I have had many plumbers our over the last 10 years who have all told me that I had various problems, but their solutions never made sense. These great folks came out very fast, showed me what was wrong, fixed it quickly, charged a great price, and cleaned up everything afterwards. The plumbing is singing! I would highly recommend Mr Rooter for any service you need. It’s like when you find the honest mechanic - use them and recommend them to everybody!

I am a senior citizen that was searching for a honest and affordable company to help me with a emergency plumbing situation. All drains clogged because of damaged pipe under the house. I called a few companies but chose Mr. Rooter because of the customer service I received. All personnel at the company that I ended up dealing with treated me well and wanted to help me out. It ended up being a major job in which Fernando and Richard spent many hours under my house until they got the job done. Both Fernando and Richard went beyond great service. As you can imagine I was very stressed out with this emergency situation. Both Fernando and Richard stayed late in the day to finish as well as came back the next day to make sure everything was still working properly. They treated me like family. By the end of the day I had relationships from management to labor before the job was done. I would highly recommend this company because of the great service they provided as well as the work which ended up putting everything back on track. Thanks Fernando and Richard you’re the best !!!!!

Wesley, Manager, Frank and Marcos worked as a team, were very cordial, respectful and considerate, explained every step plus cost of what needed to be done. They answered all our questions and kept us informed of the the process during the repair. They kept a tidy work area, used tarps. After they completed each project they cleaned and removed any and all debris/parts. Wesley, Frank, and Marcos thank you for having pride by your performance .... job well done! Would I refer Mr. ROOTER Yes I would...I am a Senior and I would recommend this trust worthy company. to all Seniors! Jessica, Receptionist, returned my desperate emergency call during a holiday within 30 minutes.

We had a water leak that was damaging our house as well as our neighbors home. Our home owners warranty did not cover leak detection and our neighbors plumber couldn’t find anything when he inspected both houses. We called Mr. Rooter of Riverside late evening and they were here within an hour! Carlos P. was the technician and was very friendly and professional. He quickly set up his gear and got to work. Within minutes he found the leak and also answered every single question I had about plumbing without hesitation. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooters plumbing to any friends or family. They were the only company willing to come without days ahead appointments. Thanks again Carlos P!
